To download the judging map pak and check out the maps yourself or to see the judging breakdown, head over to the official competition website mapping.maverickservers.com/. In a couple weeks I believe Maverick will compile all the final map releases and then release the official 2010 map competition pak.

Overall it was a great competition and I think that this year's map pak overall is considerably better then last years. I'm very happy with my map. My brush work has improved considerably. My areas of improvement are lighting, ambience, creativeness. I look forward to the next competition smiling

RAW active again?!?!? - no not really, just having fun

Me and Corel dusted off the railguns for a lil scrim with 2k10. Yeah, yeah we're rusty but I think we did ok.

NoGhost Mapping Competition - Summer 2010

Mapping Competition #2 for Quake 3 Arena

Mappers from the community are encouraged to participate in this competition; both veteran mappers and those looking to get into mapping are welcome to join in on the fun. Prizes will be awarded to the best maps and be judged by the community and players.
:: Official start: May 25th and will run for 10 weeks - ends on August 3rd, right on time for the maps to be shown at QuakeCon 2010!

Crucial Memory, Autodesk, Planetside Software are just some of the prize sponsors.

Contest officially starts May 25th and runs for 10 weeks.

I had a lot of fun on the last competition so I'm going to give it a go agian but I think this time I'm going to try a CTF map. Or maybe another TDM map.... better make up my mind soon only 3 days left before it starts. shocked

I haven't died yet

Hola

Getting caught up in my real life so I should be able to spend some more time on this poor site and clan. Wait... that's not entirely true. Going to Mexico for a couple weeks so it will just have to sit a little longer tongue

Spent the last few days fixing glitches on the website but keep seeing Coronas dance by so it's been hard to concentrate.

Played some TF2 with Shor... he's a machine. Nate (one of ther first RAWs) plays alot but I haven't played in the same server as him yet. Still need to learn the basics. Hasta pronto!

I'm always up for some Left 4 Dead smiling

I'm still undecided on Left 4 Dead 2 though.

Been a while since I played Q3 but I actually played a lil this past week. Saw Tommy, Soraya, Fragger.... I was pretty rusty. Even updated my QuakeLive. Dos Exxis por favor. See it's happening again! Bah... better just go on vacation.
