Left 4 dead was launch on november 18, 2008. It is a horror/ fps (first person shooter) game that was introduce to the market with the nice and unique feature that not a lot of game out there have which is the cooperative mode against A.I (artificial intelligent).

L4d offer the choice of 4 main character with different altitude that you can use through the 4 campaign that they offer you; Bloody Harvest, Dead air, No Mercy, and Death toll.

Francis: That is your typical Redneck that will go and complain about almost everything. He is putting a strong and rebel look, but deep inside he is the mama's boy and the little weak one.



Zoey: She is the girl in the group, the good for nothing that keep on yelling when there is a probleme instead of using her gun to help you.


Bill: He is the wisest and the weakess of the group due to his age. He like to brag about thing and tell story but we all know that most of that aren't true.


Louis: He is just the black guy in the group. The kind of straight foward guy also Mr obvious lol ( Sorry i haven't use him a lot, and I dont know most of his quote to base a accurate description on him)


In the game, when you play in Versuz mode, you can use the infected special units which give you ability such as pounding your enemy if you are the hunter, grabing your enemy with your tongue if you are a smoker, voumit or explose and infect you enemy if you are a boomer, and tank for you infected friends if you are a tanker and do heavy damage to the survivor team. Lastly and not lest important, in the infected side there is the witch which is randomly spawn in the map, and cant be use by any player, and will be a great asset for your side if the infected team can make the survivor team to get her attention on them.




A few month after the release of L4d they decided to release one of the most fun mode; Survival. The mode is actually something similar to horde in Gear of Wars 2 on the xbox 360. IT is a mode where you have to survive countless horde of enemy coming at you. Groups of Players that stay alive the longest are the best one actually


Finally for people that played it, and seem to not have enough of it, good news! At the E3 convention, Valve announced that they will release L4d 2 during the holidays season of 2009. So keep an eye on that and hope to be some day part of your group of Survivors.
